Founded in 2018 by Mike and Joeli Clark, both owners have extensive experience completing individual and small business income taxes and managing tax offices. Mike has attained his Enrolled Agent designation, which means he is admitted to practice and represent clients before all levels of the IRS.

Mike and Joeli grew tired of the one-size-fits-all approach that the "big box" franchises employ, so they started their own company based on the belief that each situation is unique and deserves individualized personal service.

She specializes in preparing individual tax returns and also provides support with S Corporation filings and more. Known for her precision, dedication, and genuine care for her clients, she consistently delivers dependable results while navigating complex financial challenges. Her passion for working with numbers is matched by her enthusiasm for problem-solving and her commitment to excellence. Outside of her professional role, she stays active through walking, swimming, and traveling. Music and dance are among her greatest passions, fueling her energy and inspiring both her work and everyday life.


Angelica Fernandez

Angelica brings over 15 years of expertise as a seasoned tax professional, known for her dedication to client care and her passion for making complex financial matters feel simple and approachable. Her warm, people-first approach has earned her lasting relationships and trust across the communities she serves. Outside of work, Angelica cherishes time with her family, friends, and especially her grandchildren—who keep her laughing, learning, and always on her toes.


Westin Lynch

Westin Lynch

Westin came on board at M&J in 2022 and hit the ground running. Since becoming a certified tax professional that same year, he’s been all about helping clients get the best possible outcome—whether it’s a personal return, a business filing, or an S-Corp. He’s got a sharp eye for detail and a real passion for making tax season feel less stressful and more successful. He’s currently diving deeper into the world of tax by studying to become an Enrolled Agent, because for Westin, learning never stops. Around the office, he’s known for his dedication, easygoing vibe, and the kind of work ethic that makes him a perfect fit here. Outside of work, you’ll probably find him hanging out with his Golden Retriever, Sutton (who’s basically the office mascot), or catching a game, he’s a big fan of both the NFL and NBA.

Outside of work, he enjoys playing pickleball and cheering on the Chargers.

Daniel has been in the Coachella Valley for over three years, relocated from Northern California Bay Area where he attended San Jose State University.  He has over 30 years of experience working with construction, rental housing, retail, and commercial industries, and with the non-profit sector. Daniel is a detail-oriented and dependable bookkeeper with a strong foundation in financial recordkeeping, account reconciliation, and budget tracking. With a keen eye for accuracy and a commitment to maintaining financial integrity. Daniel enjoys spending time with his wife and son, as well as their little critters. In his personal past time, he enjoys watching sports, working on his hot rod and tv movies. Daniel is fluent in Spanish.
